The Redefining of 'Faith' and How Christians Can Respond

Faith is much more complex than "taking a blind leapquot; or quot;believing in what you know ain't so.quot; However, this is the concept of faith reflected in our secular culture: a reduction to little more than a personal wish or a whim. This session will investigate the current uses and abuses of the term 'faith' that diminish the richness and complexity of belief in God and offer practical responses. Mary Jo will also discuss a more comprehensive definition of faith as trusting what we have reason to believe is true.
